Anyone happy to ditch their satellite dish and switch to a new way of watching the telly can get premium Sky channels and Netflix for free – just be quick. Sky has been running a blockbuster offer on its latest Stream box for the past few months but the freebie is ending this weekend meaning there’s not long left to sign and take advantage of this best Sky deal.
This limited-time deal, which ends on March 31, is based on you switching away from the standard way of getting TV beamed into your living room and moving over to streaming instead. That means all live and on-demand content arrives via your broadband rather than an over-the-air signal.
Once you’ve signed up, you’ll be sent a Sky Stream box out in the post with simple DIY instructions meaning there’s no need for an engineer to visit.
The tiny Stream device includes full access to all the most popular live terrestrial channels along with free premium platforms such as Sky Documentaries, Sky Atlantic and Sky Nature – there’s also free Netflix as well.
Along with those services, Sky Stream also offers hassle-free access to Disney+, Apple TV+ and Prime Video with all of these apps pre-installed. Other features include a tiny design, a backlit remote control and Playlist function that lets you store content to watch at a later date.
Like all good things in life, there is the usual catch as the free deal only lasts for the first month – after that you will have to pay a monthly fee to keep on watching.
There are two options to choose from including being able to leave at any time which costs £31 per month. That’s a perfect deal if you’re not sure you to keep Stream for a long period of time.
Option two costs just £26 per month but you will have to sign up for an 18-month contract to get that price.
