Dragon’s Dogma 2 release time is great news for UK fans – just don’t forget to pre-load | Gaming | Entertainment

The launch of Dragon’s Dogma 2 is mere hours away on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. A follow-up to the 2012 original for PS3 and Xbox 360, the Capcom sequel has received rave reviews for its setting, visuals and action-packed gameplay. The great news for UK customers is that Dragon’s Dogma 2 has a midnight GMT release time on March 22, which means you can play later tonight, provided you’re willing to stay up late! You can also save some money on the digital version by purchasing a PlayStation Store Card from CD Keys using the link below.

Even better news is that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is currently available to pre-load for customers who have stumped up the cash.

Indeed, pre-order customers can visit their PlayStation 5 library and install Dragon’s Dogma 2 ahead of its midnight launch.

With a file size of around 70GB, it’s not the biggest PS5 or Xbox Series X|S game on the market, but anybody with a slow internet connection will definitely want to download early, just in case.

If the reviews are anything to go by, then the Capcom action-RPG has definitely been worth the wait.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has an 87% review score on Metacritic, making it one of the more highly-rated games of the year.

While critics praise the exploration and combat system, some technical issues appear to hold it back.

If the review scores don’t get you in the mood for Dragon’s Dogma 2, then the launch trailer should.

Narrated by Deadwood and John Wick star Ian McShane (although he’ll always be Lovejoy to me), the epic trailer blends cinematics with gameplay.

Players can take a look at some of the different characters, monsters and races from the game world, not to mention some of the stunning landscapes.

You’ll also get a taste of the acclaimed combat system, which appears to be incredibly stylish and versatile.
