Give your broken phone to Samsung and get Galaxy S24 for a cheap price

It might be time to check those bedside drawers or the back of your cupboards. Samsung has just announced a new deal that’s offering at least £100 off its latest and greatest Galaxy S24 devices when you trade-in your old smartphone. This type of offer isn’t actually anything new but what makes this latest incentive better is that it doesn’t matter what condition the old device is in. That means you could have a phone with a broken screen or terrible battery life and you’ll still get the discount.

“Get up to £370 off when you trade in your old smartphone,” Samsung says on its website. “You’ll get a guaranteed £100 off for any smartphone in any condition,” the firm then adds.

As long as you have an old device, you’ll be able to drop the price of the standard S24 to at least £699 or reduce the S24 Plus down to £899. Depending on the condition and age of the trade-in things could get even cheaper.

HERE’S WHAT SAMSUNG WILL GIVE YOU FOR YOUR OLD PHONE

• Samsung Galaxy S23 – £320

• Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus – £260

• Samsung Galaxy S22 – £230

• Apple iPhone 14 – £300

• Apple iPhone 13 – £230

• Google Pixel 7 Pro – £270

As a quick reminder, all of these new Samsung phones feature faster processors, bigger batteries, brighter screens and fast charging. The Ultra is also now made from tough Titanium and gets a boost to its quad-rear camera.

One of the biggest changes included on the S24 series is the introduction of something called Galaxy AI. This offers an abundance of smart features including real-time call translation and instant picture editing.

Circle to Search is also now included which lets you find things on the web by simply circling a part of a photo.

It’s also now possible to transcribe recordings and even add slow-motion effects to videos after they have been shot.

“The Galaxy S24 series transforms our connection with the world and ignites the next decade of mobile innovation,” said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics. “Galaxy AI is built on our innovation heritage and deep understanding of how people use their phones. We’re excited to see how our users around the world empower their everyday lives with Galaxy AI to open up new possibilities.”
