Last month, Vice Media Group announced it would no longer be publishing on its website. The company, which filed for bankruptcy last year, is also laying off hundreds of its employees.

Vice was once considered one of the biggest media organisations in the world, attracting support from wealthy investors and a dedicated millennial audience. So what went so wrong?
