Katie Price has disclosed that her husband Lee Andrews could be released from custody imminently. Reports emerged over the weekend suggesting the former glamour model would be required to provide a six-figure amount to secure her husband's freedom from prison, where he claimed he was being detained on 'spying' allegations. It has subsequently emerged that Lee is purportedly being held over private civil issues.

Now, Katie has spoken candidly about when she might be reunited with her husband - should he obtain the necessary funds. "He is coming out, I can't wait to see him, can't wait to have our chats, and he should be out next week, but knowing that, knowing what prisons are like even in England, you never know," she explained.

"I've made it clear to Lee, I will never give him money, I'll never give a man money, I've done it all my life, I've always been the breadwinner. My divorces, I'm the one that always has to give. I said to Lee I'll never do it."

Katie also stated that not for a single moment did she believe that Dubai-based Lee had disappeared on her.

"I've never thought Lee's ghosted me, because I know how close we are. Never thought it, and we've always had conversations because we both like watching crime and stuff like that," she told The Sun.

"You always think of scenarios, we would never do anything like that to it, or we, our relationship isn't like that, we're proper like this. And so it was a worry when the kidnap team then came on because they can only say from their intelligence."

It has since emerged that Katie's husband Lee pleaded with her to launch a GoFundMe campaign to secure his release from prison. Reports indicated that Lee could be granted bail upon payment of £140,000.

Firmly asserting she is not a "mug", she continued: "I'm 48. I don't need to waste my time. We get along really well and he's so intelligent ... As much as I want to listen to the women [his exes] and I'm really open-minded about it, I know what a good woman I am.

"There is no way he would mess with me, and in a way, I feel protected because I have the nation looking out for me. I'm not a mug, and when I finally see Lee, I am going to question him.

"And if the answers I get are not right, that will be it: I'll be done. That's it. And I'll just get on with my life... and not find a man on Instagram and message him."
