Police have evacuated homes near Netley in Southampton due to an ongoing incident. Emergency services are currently responding to an incident at the beach on Victoria Road in Netley.
Residents who have been evacuated are being directed to Abbey Hall, where they will receive updates and information about when they can safely return to their homes.
Hedge End Police posted on social media: “We are currently dealing with an incident on the beach in Netley along Victoria road. Residents that have been evicted are able to RVP at ABBEY HALL where they will be updated on the incident and when they can return. We thank you for your co operation."
