Moscow has been plunged into darkness as Ukraine hits the Russian capital with a devastating strike, impacting over 600,000 people.

According to Ukrainian reports, drone strikes have disrupted residential houses and tower blocks plunging huge swathes of the Russian capital into complete darkness.

Footage of the blackout shows street lights have also been affected with only car headlights lighting up the city on a cold and dark winters night.
