Drivers on the M5 faced long delays on Thursday as inclement weather battered much of the UK. Motorists faced the partial closure of the M5 northbound between junctions J4 and J3. National Highways said two out of three lanes were closed as of 8.50pm.
The organisation said snow was behind the chaos, adding there were delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.
