Denmark is sending military equipment and advance troops to Greenland, a Danish news outlet reports.The Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen has said an attack by the US on Greenland would mean the end of the NATO alliance.

Frederiksen said in an interview: “One should take the American president seriously when he says that he wants Greenland.If the US chooses to attack another NATO country militarily, then everything stops, including NATO and thus the security that has been established since the end of the Second World War," the Prime Minister added in the interview with Danish broadcaster TV2.
