A teenage girl accused with two others of murdering a man at a seaside resort shouted “f****** paedophile, I’m f****** 16, get him” as she filmed him being attacked, a court has heard. The 16-year-old and two boys, aged 15 and 16, are on trial at Woolwich Crown Court accused of murdering Alexander Cashford, 49, in Leysdown-on-Sea, on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.
Jurors were told the 49-year-old was found lying face down in mud with head and facial injuries just over an hour after he met up with the trio on August 10 last year. Prosecutors said the teenagers contacted Mr Cashford using the fake name “Sienna” and arranged to meet him at the beach at around 7pm that day.
The court heard the trio were seen near the promenade that evening as Mr Cashford travelled towards the village to meet “Sienna”, before meeting the 16-year-old girl on the seafront.
