Conservative Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs Andrew Rosindell has defected to Reform UK. According to reports, leader of Reform UK Nigel Farage said: "Andrew is a great patriot. He will be a great addition to our team ahead of the elections on May 7th."
Announcing his resignation on Sunday, the MP for Romford said the Conservative Party was "irreparably bound to the mistakes of previous governments and unwilling to take meaningful accountability for the poor decisions made over so many issues". He argued that Reform UK is “the only political movement that is genuinely willing to fight for the best interests of the United Kingdom”.
