A woman who found herself inside the home of Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham has revealed what she believes the family is truly like, amidst a feud with eldest son Brooklyn. The 26-year-old made a series of explosive claims on social media last week, alleging his parents prioritise "public promotion and endorsements above all else" and that his mother danced "inappropriately" during his first dance with wife Nicola Peltz.
Eight years prior to these explosive posts, journalist Lisa Armstrong met Victoria at the family's temporary South Kensington residence. Arriving before Victoria, Lisa was ushered into a study to wait until the former Spice Girl was ready.

Once inside, Lisa noticed framed photography on the walls alongside a Damien Hurst painting. However, it was something else scattered around the home that gave Lisa a real insight into the life of David and Victoria as well as children Brooklyn, Cruz, Romeo, and Harper.
Writing in The Telegraph, she said: "Compared with the Holland Park mansion they later moved into, this residence was small."
She added: "The yellow Post-it notes scattered around the room - reminders that Romeo needed a packed lunch one day that week, or that Cruz would be wanting his swimming kit - were banal, but in the context of the oh-so-carefully honed Beckham narrative, a relatable insight into a real family."
She concedes she could have been "played" by the Beckhams but went on to explain she believes they "adore their children" and that "family comes first".

Lisa further stated: "I've interviewed David too. The pair have always been charming, polite, professional, punctual, going out of their way to give you the quotes you need."
Last week Brooklyn claimed he had been "controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else" and accused his parents of "trying endlessly". He alleged his parents were attempting to sabotage his relationship with 31-year-old Nicola.
He revealed his mother withdrew from designing her wedding dress at the "eleventh hour" and that his move to America had provided him "peace and relief" after years of severe anxiety. A source informed the Mirror that these claims are "putting a strain" on the Beckhams.
The source said: "This is putting a strain on them, but Victoria has told David she won't let this destroy them. This is the biggest test they've ever had, but they will survive it because they are strong."

It's the allegation that Victoria "hijacked" Brooklyn's first dance with Nicola and "danced inappropriately" that the source says has upset the 51-year-old the most.
The source claimed: "Victoria is absolutely broken and devastated. She is highly embarrassed and doesn't know how to face the public."
David and Victoria are no strangers to private matters becoming public knowledge. In 2004, David's former assistant Rebecca Loos alleged she had conducted an affair with the ex-England captain.
Victoria discussed the affair publicly for the first time in the 2023 Netflix documentary series, Beckham. She characterised it as the "hardest period" of her life.
Just last year, she revealed how she and David manage speculation surrounding their marriage, telling the Call Her Daddy podcast, "We've had so much thrown at us and we've always just been there together and just ridden the storm."
