
A teenage girl was tragically found dead at a university campus by police officers after they were called to a report "of a sudden death". Lancashire Police said to have received the report in the early afternoon of February 5.
Police were called to an adress at Ribble Hall, at the University of Lancashire campus on Victoria Street. Upon their arrival to the accommodation, they sadly discovered the body of a woman in her late teens.
Enquiries into her death are ongoing, the force said.
A police spokesperson said, as reported by LancsLive: "We were called at 1.15pm yesterday to an address in Victoria Street, Preston, to a report of a sudden death.
"Officers attended and very sadly the body of a woman in her late teens was found inside the address. Our thoughts are with her family at this distressing time. Our enquiries into the death are ongoing."
