Now spring is here, the peak holiday season is just around the corner. If you're jetting off this summer, a good suitcase is a non-negotiable, but finding one that’s both reliable and reasonably priced isn’t always easy. Antler is a bit of a big name in the suitcase world, a British legacy brand that was founded in 1914, and while its cases are usually more of an investment buy, now’s a good moment to snap one up for less. The current sale has up to 40% off, with some pieces available for less than £100.
One of the standout bargains in the sale is the cabin suitcase in dark purple, which shoppers say they’ve already taken on Ryanair flights. Measuring 55 x 40 x 20 cm, it’s not quite small enough for Ryanair’s free hand luggage allowance (that’s just 40cm x 25cm x 20cm), but it slots in perfectly as priority luggage. So instead of squeezing everything into a tiny bag, you can bring a larger cabin case onboard, plus a smaller personal item—and enjoy priority boarding while you’re at it.
For travellers who’ve already tried it out, it seems to do exactly what it promises. In a review, one shopper said the case was "just what I need". They continued: "Lovely little suitcase. Very good quality and confirms with sizing for Ryanair flight."
At full price, the cabin suitcase costs £165, but right now it’s down to £99 in the 40% off sale. The hardshell is made from polycarbonate, so it’s designed to withstand a few knocks while remaining lightweight. Empty, it weighs just 2.75kg, leaving you with plenty of room to pack without worrying about going over the limit. Inside, there’s 35.2 litres of packing capacity. And if you find yourself needing a bit more space on the way home, there’s an expandable zip.
Open it up, and it’s all organised inside, which makes packing (and unpacking) feel far less chaotic. Like most of Antler’s suitcases, it splits into two compartments: one side has compression straps to keep everything in place, while the other is fully zipped. There’s also a discreet side pocket, ideal for keeping valuables tucked away and easy to find.
Security-wise, it’s covered too. There’s a TSA-approved lock built in, so once you’ve set your code, everything stays safely shut while you travel. And if you’re the type who likes a matching set, there are coordinating medium and large cases in the sale as well. The large suitcase has dropped from £230 to £138, and the medium from £195 to £117. Or, you can go all in and pick up the full set of three for £354, down from £590.
In a review, one customer said: "Always feel stylish with an Antler case at the hotel and airport. Lovely quality cases that are much more durable than other makes."
That said, it’s not completely without critique. One shopper pointed out a small tweak that could make a difference, adding: "Great quality, but would be handy to have an outside pocket!“
