The Aboriginal walk lasts just over half an hour, and runs along the Yarra river, a popular destination for many walkers and runners.

As the pair took the stroll, they were stopped by many fans with crowds gathering.

They were also surrounded by a scrum of local press photographers and video journalists, with a helicopter flying above.

Five police officers arrived as growing ranks of media encircled the couple on the sunny morning in Melbourne.

One reporter in particular appeared to cause a scene, with Harry ushering him away.

Paul Dowsley, Channel 7 reporter, has been attracting the attention of the couple's staff as he appears in and out of camera shots during PA Media's filming of the visit.

The Sussexes communications director Liam Maguire was previously seen engaging in several friendly conversations with Dowsley.

However, after his attempt to snap a selfie with the Duke and Duchess on Thursday morning, Harry appeared to nudge him out of Meghan's way.

Dowsley said to the Mail: "I suppose it's a break in protocol to ask for a selfie with a royal, but he told me that I'm always so well-dressed."

The producer has been present at all of the Sussexes visits and on Thursday morning donned a beige suit and floral tie.

He added that all the interactions he have had with Harry have been 'good-humoured' with the Duke even complimenting his tie choice.

On Tuesday evening when the couple stepped out for an event at the Australian National Veterans Arts Museum he was seen being ushered away by security guard known as 'Chris from Texas'.
