Little Mix star Jesy Nelson is offering a £10,000 reward after her car was taken from her driveway in the early hours of Sunday morning. Jesy, who resides in Brentwood, Essex, appealed for information, telling her followers that the vehicle contained a significant amount of her daughters' hospital equipment. The singer's twins have been diagnosed with SMA Type 1, a rare muscle-wasting condition.

Taking to Instagram, Jesy revealed her black Land Rover Defender had been stolen "in the early hours of this morning". She urged anyone with information to contact her or the police as "I have so much of my girls hospital equipment in that car that's really needed."

She later added that the car was last spotted at 3am near Chelmsford, and that she was offering a "10k reward to whoever helps recover it."

Jesy has been desperately trying to raise awareness about her daughters' condition, which weakens the muscles by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord.

The type her young twins have is both the most common and the most severe form of the condition. This means that those affected, including little Ocean and Story, have a life expectancy estimated at less than two years without medical intervention.

The singer recently celebrated a 'major milestone' and said she is 'really proud' how far things have come. "I just wanted to come on here to share some information and news that I have heard over the last couple of days," she said. "As you know I've been campaigning to try and get SMA as part of the newborn screening here in England. My girls were diagnosed with SMA Type 1 and unfortunately they weren't tested at birth because it wasn't here in England.

"They have now decided to roll that out in October for all babies in England to be tested at birth for SMA, which is absolutely incredible. I know it is a really big moment for the SMA community because this has been going on for years trying to get this passed, so yeah it is a real proud moment."

Jesy welcomed her babies in May 2025 with former partner Zion Foster, though she announced they had split shortly after she shared the news of her daughters' diagnosis.

The star announced the heartbreaking news in January and shortly after, her petition calling for SMA to be added to post-birth baby checked passed 100,000 signatures. She later shared a video of her in tears and told followers: "You have no idea how much this means to me and the SMA community."
