Armed police have rushed to a street in Greater Manchester this evening. Emergency services, including the air ambulance and armed police, were called to the incident in Blackley. They remain on the scene and have set up a cordon across the entrance to Somerton Court on Broadmoss Drive.
A forensics unit has also been called to, with eyewitnesses saying multiple detectives have been spotted. The police incident has also caused travel issues in the local area. Traffic monitoring site Inrix says: "Broadmoss Drive in both directions partially blocked due to police incident near Grange Park Road."
