A Canadian woman has been killed with several other people injured after a man opened fire at a historical site in Mexico. The incident unfolded in the Teotihuacán archaeological zone, around one hour north of Mexico City, the country's government has said.

The gunman then killed himself after the attack, according to officials. Police officers who rushed to the scene recovered a firearm, a bladed weapon, and live cartridges.
