American broadcaster Ben Meiselas has claimed Donald Trump has missed his annual physical examination at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Maryland, amid concerns about his health. Meiselas claimed via the media company MeidasTouch: “Donald Trump appears to have missed his annual physical, or he is covering up his annual physical for 2026.”
He repeated the statement before explaining Trump’s recent behaviour, which he alleges has been sparking concerns “even among the most right-wing media, which is now labelling him utterly insane”. “You see, Donald Trump’s last annual physical was in April 2025, and that’s what began raising a lot of alarm bells if you actually read it and you saw some of his conditions which his physician was trying to cover up,” he alleged.
“In October 2025, Trump claimed he was getting another annual physical, but it was actually his semi-annual physical that he does every six months.”
The TV star claimed the President’s annual physical is supposed to take place this month, adding: “Under any normal circumstance, the White House would announce when it’s going to take place.”
He continued by claiming: “But notice, Donald Trump, who loves talking about all of his cognitive exams, is covering this up. Now let’s talk about his behaviour over the past 12 hours.
“As Tom Joseph explains, Trump is on his last legs, badly slurring, weak, insane, laboured, beaten by Iran, carcas-like, rotting.”
Meiselas then aired a picture from the Washington Examiner's front page, with the bold headline ‘Donald Trump is losing his mind’ plastered over it.
Trump’s last reported annual physical took place at the Bethesda facility in April 2025, during which his doctor, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, declared him in exceptional health and fully fit to be President.
The report included a cognitive assessment in which Trump reached a perfect score. In addition, his notes indicated that comphrehensive laboratory studies were exceptional.
White House officials have always maintained Trump is in robust health.
