A woman and child have died after "getting into difficulty" in the water in a London park.
Metropolitan Police officers were called just before 4.30pm to Elthorne Park in Ealing, which is close to the River Brent. A spokesperson said a woman and child, believed to be a mother and her son, were recovered from the water, but they died at the scene.
Police are working to identify their next of kin. The ages of the two people have not been revealed. The force also added that "the circumstances are not suspicious".
