
Emergency services have rushed to a major UK city, with police locking down a busy road and quickly erecting a huge cordon.
Police have swarmed to Drymen Road in Bearsden, an affluent town on the northwestern fringe of Greater Glasgow and around six miles from the city centre. The road has been locked down by officers, with a huge cordon currently in place. The nature of the incident remains unclear. The Daily Express has contacted Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service for comment.
