New Look customers have described a pair of bestselling jeans as "super comfortable" and "perfect" for the spring and summer. The popular high street retailer boasts a wide selection of denim options.

Customers can pick from a variety of styles, including skinny, boot cut, barrel and straight. New Look's current top-selling jeans are the Denim Drawstring Wide Leg Trousers, priced at £26.99. The jeans are available in three colourways: blue, indigo and light blue.

New Look's product description states: "These relaxed wide leg trousers offer a comfy fit with an elasticated drawstring waist. The blue style is perfect for lazy weekends and casual work days."

Made from non-stretch denim, the trousers feature side slip pockets and an elasticated drawstring waistband. New Look stocks the jeans in sizes six to 18.

Customers have been pleased with their purchase, with one shopper remarking: "Lovely comfortable trousers. Nice fit. Not my usual style of trousers but was really surprised how nice they look on. Lightweight so perfect for spring and summer."

Another added: "Love these jeans. So many comments on them. Super comfy. Can be dressed up or down." A third customer commented: "So comfy have three pairs of these love them true to size, dressed up or down."

A fourth reviewer wrote: "Gorgeous looking and very comfortable and flattering."

However, not every shopper was won over by the fit. One customer remarked: "Nice pants but just didn't suit my body shape. Not very nice fit not good at all."

Another added: "Nice jeans but come up quite short, so if you're taller than 5ft 6inch go for the taller ones!" Meanwhile, a shopper thought the blue pair fitted differently to other coloured jeans from New Look.

They said: "I don't know what happened in the making of these trousers. I ordered two other pairs, in the dark denim and white and they are a lovely fit. These are baggy and a bad shape and the material seemed cheap."

New Look is not the only high street retailer to stock drawstring denim jeans. Matalan offers Midwash Comfort Wide Leg Jeans for £22 which are available in light wash, black, indigo and mid wash. They are stocked in sizes eight to 28, with a variety of leg lengths on offer.

Marks and Spencer stocks 2 Pack Denim Pull On Wide Leg Jeans for £50. Customers can select from a set containing medium blue and black jeans or light indigo and white jeans.

The sets are available from size six to 24, with leg options of extra small, short/petite, regular and long.
