Keir Starmer has faced an abundance of humiliation since the results of the local election came in last week, seeing Labour face some serious losses. Calls for Starmer's exit had been circulating long before the vote after a series of events, with the failed vetting of Lord Mandelson being the most prominent of them all. However, after a speech issued on Monday (May 11), people have remained unimpressed with the Prime Minister, including telly host Piers Morgan.

Morgan has been one of the many people to obliterate Starmer after his speech, and in a final blow he shared a photo of them both to his socials to suggest a meme alongside a five-word takedown as he wrote: "Keir mate - the game's up." He had also shared posts talking about plots from members of the cabinet to tell Starmer the game is up, prompting Morgan to share an eye emoji with the posts.

People appeared to mirror Morgan's sentiment as one user responded to his post writing: "Never saw a Prime Minister cling to his job like Starmer. No honour. Doesn't have something to hide perhaps. Leaving would expose him?"

Another wrote: "And rightly so, his speech this morning basically playing a blame game and still accepting 0 accountability for how the country is being run into the ground."

A third added: "Now wouldn't it be funny if he pulled the whole thing down and called a general election." More than 80 Labour MPs have called on Starmer to quit in an astonishing leadership crisis, and Morgan has been adding fuel to the fire with an abundance of posts all throughout the day.

He wrote on X on Monday: "If Starmer says ‘let me be clear’ or ‘to be very clear’ more than three times, he should resign for that alone," before adding a brutal 10-word claim as he stated: "No PM in history has lacked clarity more than him."

He continued: ""This is just a load of pointless heard-it-all-before waffle." While his final blow came shortly after as he added: "It would be entirely fitting of this failing, dithering, ineffectual, indecisive Labour Party if nobody grows a pair to challenge Starmer… and he stumbles on until they all lose their seats anyway."

The government is divided after Starmer's speech and the aftermath of the election, but as more MPs turn their back on their own leader, the situation for Starmer is just getting worse.
