A major section of a key UK motorway has been closed to motorists following a serious crash.
The collision took place in the early hours of Friday morning, 15 May, after a vehicle departed the carriageway.
Eastbound motorists will find the M54 in Shropshire shut between J3 (Albrighton) and J2 (Wolverhampton) as a consequence of the incident.
Officers are presently at the scene and a diversion route has been established.
