Beauty fans are praising three hair serums, saying they could work for anyone after fuller, thicker locks. The serums in question are the Champo Pitta Growth Serum (£34), UKLASH Hair Growth Serum (£40) and Kérastase Genesis Fortifying Anti-Hair Loss Serum (from £23.50).

TV personality and presenter Vicky Pattison shared her love for the Champo Pitta Growth Serum last year, so much that she included it in her bag of holiday beauty essentials. She posted an image on Instagram with the title: 'Today's pool essentials'.

To use it, shoppers should apply one to two pipettes daily - or one to four smaller drops if targeting a specific area - on a damp or a dry, clean scalp. The serum has a 'jelly-like texture', which helps with application and avoids any product being wasted, and it is easy to use. It should be applied once daily in the morning or before going to bed during a six-week period, according to the site.

Shoppers should apply four doses on a dry or towel-dried scalp, section by section, with one dose equalling one pipette until the mark. Then, it should be massaged in gently and hair can be styled as desired. There is no need to rinse.

Shoppers have given this one a 4.3 out of five-star rating on Sephora's site, with many praising the results. One said: "I suffered from severe postpartum hair loss and this saved me!"
