Former Top Gear star Jeremy Clarkson has issued a huge health update following a recent hospital dash. The 66-year-old Clarkson's Farm star revealed in October 2024 that he had undergone urgent heart surgery after being told that he was potentially days away from dying.

Now, speaking to Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden, Jeremy opened up on his health scares. Jamie said to him: "Can I just say you look very well. I know you’ve had a couple of health scares recently." Jeremy replied, joking that it was down to "fat jabs", before adding more seriously: "No, I’m well thank you very much. Yes, it was quite a fraught year last year but no I’m absolutely fine now. Tickety-boo!"

The worrying moment that Jeremy was rushed off to hospital has been captured on camera, and was recently shown in a new trailer for the upcoming series of Clarkson's Farm.

In the clip, the TV personality revealed to his colleague Kaleb Cooper that his heart "wasn't getting any blood".

Footage captured an ambulance racing down a country lane and the former Grand Tour presenter was subsequently shown in hospital with wires connected to his chest.

Jeremy could later be heard telling Kaleb: "You've got three arteries that feed your heart to keep it pumping. My heart wasn't getting any blood."

The Clarkson’s Farm star, 66, lost three stone in just six months while taking Mounjaro, but also noticed side effects including not being “quite as quick-witted”.

Writing in his column for the Sun, he penned: “I learned that a third of the weight loss has come from lean muscle. It shows. I now have legs like pipe cleaners and I can no longer open the ketchup bottle.”

Jeremy has confessed he also experienced a reduced libido after starting the injections, but suggested that could also be down to his age. His weight loss has plateaued, but he is continuing to take the medication to ensure he doesn’t pile the pounds back on.
