Fans are convinced Lee Andrews isn't a real person

Katie Price's love life has dominated tabloid coverage for years, but her most recent marriage to self-described billionaire Lee Andrews has proved perhaps the most confounding. The Dubai businessman, who is currently "missing", is facing allegations of fraud, dishonesty, and even employing AI to create fabricated images.

As the search for Lee enters its second week, it has been suggested that Lee might actually be fictitious. Some assertions claim he could even be an AI-generated individual. Taking to X, one person said: "I know she wants me to talk about him but I’m convinced Lee Andrews is AI and Katie Price in on it." A second added: "Is Lee Andrews actually AI?" Here are all the clues supporting fans' wild theory...

When Katie revealed her betrothal to Lee, numerous observers hastened to learn more about the person she claimed had captured her affections. At the time, his Instagram identified him as CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an 'investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness.'

His account, which had 111k followers, featured photographs of the businessman exercising at the gym and enjoying an affluent lifestyle in Dubai. There were also images showing him posing alongside what seemed to be a flying car with Elon Musk, as well as apparent evidence of him socialising with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, whom he photographed signing a baseball cap featuring his company's logo.

However, it quickly became apparent that the claims were entirely fabricated – with his firm's website containing no genuine information, while his celebrity photographs appeared to have been AI-generated.

In addition to his business ventures, he claimed to hold the position of director of philanthropy at the King's Trust, although the charity dismissed the claim as false. Lee had further described himself as a member of the Board of Advisors to the Labour Party, but they confirmed he "doesn't work with us".

Lee's 'travel ban'

Following her Dubai wedding to her new husband, Katie was scheduled to return to the UK – but her spouse was unable to join her. This was reportedly due to him having previously served time in Dubai's Al-Awir central prison for alleged fraud, with the Daily Mail claiming Lee had forged an ex-girlfriend's signature to obtain a £200,000 mortgage in her name.

The United Arab Emirates prohibits anyone under criminal investigation from departing the country, though Lee disputed claims that he was prevented from returning to the UK, suggesting there must be some 'wrong details'.

Under Dubai law, anyone facing criminal investigations, including unpaid debts or civil lawsuits, is prevented from leaving the country. Initially claiming he was staying in Dubai to 'house hunt', Katie later confessed on her podcast that Lee did, in fact, have a travel ban, though she offered no further explanation as to why.

As a result of this travel ban, Lee has not been physically present in the UK.

'Missing person'

Days after Lee failed to arrive in the UK, Katie took to social media to issue a desperate plea, claiming her husband was 'missing'.

"Lee has been missing for three days. The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10 o'clock,' she revealed in a YouTube video. He was attempting to cross the border in Dubai to catch a flight to me... and this is so, so disorienting... His location went off at 10:03 Wednesday night; that's the last contact anyone's had, his family and myself."

Katie went on to reveal that both she and Lee's family had contacted the authorities, expressing her concerns that he may have been 'kidnapped'. "No one can locate him in any prison, police station, there's no record of it," she said.

Lee has neither been spotted nor posted anything on social media since, though it has been noted that he has begun following a woman on Instagram. Previously, he followed only Katie, but has since also followed a woman by the name of Mari Sol.

Missed Good Morning Britain interview

After months apart from Katie, Lee was expected to lay the rumours to rest by making a live television appearance. Last week, Katie and Lee were scheduled to appear together on Good Morning Britain for their first live interview – yet he failed to turn up.

Instead, host Ed Balls revealed that the UK Foreign Office had responded as follows when asked whether Lee was subject to a travel ban: 'We supported a British man who was detained in the United Arab Emirates'.

Katie dismissed claims that her husband had been "arrested" and maintained he "just didn't make the flight". "He's coming over here to spend quite a few months now, so he's been sorting out my visa, my international driving license and he was flying from Muscat."
