Sarah Ferguson burned through cash on her daughter's credit card as her excessive spending got out of hand, according to fresh allegations by a royal biographer.
In a new chapter of Andrew Lownie's book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, he claims the former Duchess caused chaos with her money habits.
According to the book, staff were asked to buy items on their personal credit cards because Fergie's love of luxury was unsustainable and bills were spiralling. She allegedly even used her daughter's money to keep up her lavish lifestyle.
The book claimed: "The assistant and other staff members had problems getting paid and often had to buy things using their own credit cards. Sarah herself drew on Beatrice's credit card constantly and paid one psychic in cigarettes."
