Katie Price has admitted that her missing husband, Lee Andrews, did actually tell her that he had been arrested in a new video. The model's other half seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth just over a week ago now, with Katie making a plea to her fans to help find him after she claimed that he was "kidnapped".
She has been keeping followers updated and in her latest YouTube vlog, Katie revealed that Lee informed her he was using a secret third mobile after his alleged 'kidnappers' had confiscated the other two he carries. The footage, recorded on the day after Lee disappeared, showed Katie on a call as she relayed to the person on the other end what Lee had told her during their conversation. She told the person on the line: "Because last night, they said, 'They've taken two of my phones. They don't know I'm on this phone'. And so he said, 'I'll just let you know I've been arrested. If they ring you'."
Katie, who chose not to reveal the identity of the person she was speaking to, added: "He wrote a text quick. I mean, I hope he's all right, but I don't know."
The footage then showed Katie leaving a voice message for Lee's father, whose number Lee had passed on to her moments before going AWOL, to inform him that his son was missing.
Peter has since claimed Lee is being detained by police, telling the Daily Mail: "Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped but he is under arrest. I don't know on what charge.
"I'm not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today." A police insider also told the publication: "Lee Andrews has been arrested."
In a new twist of events, Lee's phone appears to have been turned on. A source close to Lee explained: “I had been messaging Lee and was getting no response. But on Sunday morning, my messages had gone from a single tick to a double – so that device is back on and being used.
“Lee has multiple phones, but this is the one that is being used now," they told The Sun.
