UK weather maps are showing when and where the next scorcher will hit. A predicted 26C will provide the UK with another warm weather period, and just in time for June. Forecasts shared by WXCharts suggest that the middle of June will see hotter than usual weather in parts of the UK.

Forecasters at the weather outlet say the UK will see highs of 26C from Thursday, June 11, to Saturday, June 13. The spike comes just a week after the UK recorded temperatures in the low to mid 30s. The Bank Holiday weekend proved to be a hot one and Brits are set for further warm weather next month.

A long-term forecast from the Met Office has urged Brits to expect dry climates, thunderstorms, and hot weather in the south. Its forecast for June 5 to June 14 reads: "Changeable early in this period with Atlantic frontal systems moving across the UK. These will bring showers or longer spells of rain at times, with wettest conditions in the northwest, driest in the southeast.

"Strong winds may affect parts of the UK at times, especially the northwest. Later in the period, higher pressure and drier weather may begin to become more prevalent, especially in the south. Temperatures are likely to be near normal overall."

A further forecast for June 15 to June 29 adds: "Fine and dry across many areas at first with high pressure the dominate pattern across the UK. Winds will mostly be light with temperatures probably above normal.

"Later, low pressure will probably begin to have more of an influence, especially across the south where heavy showers and thunderstorms become more probable. It may also become hot in parts of the south."

London will, according to WXCharts, feel the heat on June 13 as a predicted 26C hits the capital. The area around London will see highs of 22C to 25C.

The Met Office has also revealed which parts of the UK will need to brace for rain downpours on Monday, just a week on from the record-breaking heat.

According to Met Office maps, a whopping 42 counties are forecast to see rain tomorrow as showers hit most of the country. Some of the lucky areas that may escape the wet weather are County Durham, Kent, and Northumberland.
