Police and paramedics have swarmed a street in an area of Stoke-on-Trent. Pictures from the scene show several police cars and ambulances on The Strand in the Longton area.
Staffordshire Police confirmed officers are responding to a "report of a fight" and have shut down an area for the time being to carry out an investigation. The force's statement also read: "A cordon has been put in place and we’re advising people to avoid the area." Two air ambulances were spotted in the area, and another is reportedly on its way, the Sentinel wrote. A reader told the news outlet: "Something has happened in Longton. The Strand is shut off and an air ambulance has just landed."
