Prince Harry has reportedly changed his mind over his previous thoughts about sharing pictures of their children on social media. The 41-year-old has previously shared that he wishes to keep them out of the spotlight and allow them to grow up in private in California.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, now aged seven and five, are being raised in the US - thousands of miles away from the restraints of the royal fold. Since her return to Instagram in January 2025, Meghan Markle has shared many pictures of Archie and Lilibet - a decision that Harry reportedly wasn't on board with.

However, according to one insider, Harry now "completely on board" with Meghan's decision to share their children on social media.

Speaking to royal expert Rob Shuter for his substack, the insider said: "Harry is completely on board now.

"There was a time when he wanted the children almost entirely out of public view. That’s changed."

According to the insider, the switch is all about change, with Harry said to now not see that sharing them on social media as not being a "threat to their privacy".

The insider added: "Harry’s issue was never family photos,” adding “His issue was photographers stalking his children. These images are shared on their terms, when they want, how they want, and that’s a huge distinction for him."

As said by the insiders, "This wasn’t Meghan convincing Harry to do something he didn’t want.

"Those battles are long over. Harry fully embraces it now. He sees these photos as celebrating family, not sacrificing privacy."

The couple moved to the US when Archie was less than a year old, with Lilbet joining the family in 2021.
