Trump, in an interview with the Financial Times raged: "He won't have any choice.I call the shots. I call all the shots. He [Netanyahu] doesn't call the shots."
Trump's comments came after Iran launched ballistic missiles at US ally Israel. The attack is the most serious breach the ceasefire agreement.
The US and Israel carried out joint strikes on several key Iranian sites on February 28. Iran retaliated by striking sites across the region and closing the Strait of Hormuz waterway.
A ceasefire was struck in April, but the countires have not yet managed to agree upon a long-term peace deal.
