ITV star Kirsty Gallagher sparked major concern on Instagram after revealing that she was "in the depths" of an "incredibly challenging time." The astrologer and spiritualist was a regular on This Morning, offering advice to viewers, with her last appearance on the famous sofa being in September 2025. Taking to her Instagram page, Kirsty penned: "Some of you have noticed that I have been quieter than usual, so I wanted to share that I’ve been going through an incredibly challenging time personally.
"I’m in the depths at the moment – the mush – and as I navigate this time, I need to cocoon, to care for myself and go inward." Later in the post, Kirsty said: “I hope that even in my darkest times I can still bring some light and hope and comfort to you all (and your messages about how my work supports you have been keeping me going, so thank you)."
In the caption, the ITV star didn't detail exactly what is going on in her life, but admitted it was tough to be so vulnerable with her followers.
Kirsty wrote: "This is a very vulnerable share for me, but one of my biggest values is authenticity, and that’s why I wanted to let you all know, as you are my community and I care for you deeply.
"And it somehow doesn’t feel right to not share the reality of what I am currently going through," she concluded by asking fans to "hold me gently".
Taking to the comments with compassion, one replied: "This is such a brave post @kirsty_gallagher_ and rightly a public service announcement to us all that life sometimes gives us lessons that even the brightest stars need rest to shine & rise during transitions in life."
A second echoed: "You are not alone and a recent inspiration to me… please take time for you now. Your wisdom and love had helped me so much. Thank you - hope your discoveries show you how wonderful and amazing you are."
"Take as much time as you need, beautiful lady. I admire your honesty so much. There is always a lesson that comes up when we experience tough times - lean in and let the universe hold you for a little while," another added.
Kirsty was supported by Countryfile legend Julia Bradbury, who shared: "Stay safe and well done for doing self-care well, and sharing how it's done."
Kirsty has been a repeat guest on This Morning since 2021, and in addition to her TV work, she is also a bestselling author with eight books, including the popular Lunar Living: Working with the Magic of the Moon Cycle.
