BBC Breakfast star Nina Warhurst was supported by her closest co-stars as she admitted to being “in so much pain [she] hoped someone might shoot [her] in the head.” Nina was celebrating her daughter’s third birthday on social media with an emotional Instagram post, in which she admitted: “This time 3 years ago I was in so much pain I hoped someone might come and offer to shoot me in the head. That didn’t happen and I’m glad, because hanging out with you has been a pleasure.
“You are noisy and unrelenting. You feel deeply and love hard. You are a superb addition to the sisterhood, and I love your daily shows, which include your hit single, ‘and Tuesday and Friday and Tuesday,’ as well as the timeless classic, ‘Girls are good. Boys are sausages.’ Happy birthday my daughter.”
Nina’s co-stars immediately rushed to the comments section to support her, with Breakfast host Sally Nugent dropping a like on the post. BBC radio presenter Rachel Burden commented: “She’s a princess!”
Stacey Dooley added a red love heart emoji, while Nina’s sister Amy wrote: “Happy birthday Nance! What did we ever do without you? We couldn’t love you more.”
Nina shares three children with her husband Ed Fraser – sons Digby and Michael and daughter Nance.
