A severe collision on a key motorway near Gatwick Airport exit is causing significant disruption for commuters this Wednesday morning, with a substantial stretch of the M23 motorway now shut to all traffic heading south.
National Highways has confirmed that the M23 near Gatwick Airport is closed between J8 (M25 junction) and J10 (Crawley) in the wake of the serious smash.
Significant tailbacks are already building for drivers in the surrounding area - so if you are heading to the airport this morning, it would be advisable to set off earlier than planned where possible.
