It is believed the future Queen, 44, played a lot of tennis when she was younger. This is something she has carried on doing, often with her husband and three children. However, like many of us, Catherine once revealed that she had less time for the sport as she got older and became a mum-of-three.

During a trip to Bond Primary School in South West London in January 2018, Prince William’s wife told students at Wimbledon Junior Tennis Initiative training sessions and activities that she is not as sporty as she used to be as she has “lots of babies”.

At the time, Catherine was pregnant with her youngest son Prince Louis, who is now eight.

She had already had Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

As reported by MyLondon, she had told the primary school students: "I love tennis, I think it's a great sport, I was really sporty when I was little, less so now that I've got lots of babies!”

She continued: “But keep it up, it's great to be active, as everyone's been saying here today. It's been a real pleasure to meet all of you."

It is likely she will be accompanied by her husband Prince William and their two oldest children Prince George, 12, and Princess Charlotte, 11, who have been attending the tournament with their mum for the last few years.

All three children are believed to have played the sport before and are fans of tennis.
