Co-op has introduced a major change at 33 of its stores across the UK to allow customers 'quick and easy' access to groceries.
The supermarket has expanded its online grocery delivery system through a new partnership with Uber Eats, which is supported by the Snappy Technologies’ OA Platform.
The launch will see 33 Co-op stores across East Anglia added to the food delivery service, meaning shoppers will be able to conveniently shop for groceries and household essentials.
The change helps give customers more flexibility and expands Co-op's online reach in the East of England.
It integrates the Snappy Technologies’ OA platform which allows retailers to manage multiple online channels through a single solution.
Simon Dryell, chief commercial officer at East of England Co-op, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Uber Eats and launch the service across 33 of our food stores.
“Snappy Technologies’ OA platform has given us a fast and efficient route to launch on Uber Eats while simplifying the management of our online channels.
“This partnership helps us meet the changing needs of our communities, ensuring customers can access the products they need quickly and easily from their local East of England Co-op.”
The expansion builds on the grocery stores current partnership with the Snappy Technologies OA platform.
