Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were sworn to secrecy by King Charles who insisted nothing about their reunion was leaked, reports claim. The King would only allow his aides to confirm the meeting with the Sussexes had taken place after Harry left Highgrove House, according to Vanity Fair.
A source told the publication a time was agreed for the Sussexes to visit Highgrove last Friday afternoon, adding: "It was uncharacteristically last-minute for the King. Everyone was sworn to secrecy so that the meeting could remain private."
Queen Camilla drove to Highgrove to join the King "in quite a hurry" as Charles wanted her by his side for moral support, Vanity Fair reports.
It emerged last Friday night that the King had reunited with Harry, Meghan and his grandchildren, Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five. They last saw their grandfather in person during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
