Sharing a photo of his bill, which came in at £144.45, Rick wrote: "I've just walked out of Jeremy Clarkson's Farmer's Dog with one of his plates. We came for our 26th wedding anniversary. Rammed for a Wednesday, brilliant staff, and the food was amazing.
"Then the bill arrived with a 12.5% service charge slapped on top. Which to be fair I don't mind paying for such good service, and I got a plate too so winner winner!" he noted.
"Some of you will remember I left with the lucky cat from Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. It's still sitting at home. Now Jeremy's plate is coming home with me too. Gordon's cat. Jeremy's plate. Who should I visit next?"
While Rick joked that he'd stolen a plate, the property investor's receipt showed that he'd actually purchased it alongside his meal for an additional £25.
Opened by Jeremy in 2024, the pub has received rave reviews over the past two years, and it's also been frequented by fellow stars. Speaking with The Sun, Jeremy revealed that David Beckham, Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Prue Leith have all popped in.
Jeremy has also confessed that running a pub is "more stressful than running a farm". Nonetheless, he always wanted The Farmer's Dog to be "somewhere where farmers could go, if it's raining on a Tuesday afternoon and they can't work on their farm, they could come and have a pint and meet other farmers".
