Prince Harry made his debut appearance on James Corden's Fox programme After Hours where he was asked to rank himself in accordance with the all-time British "Harry's".

During a previous episode, the Duke of Sussex was dealt a humilitating blow after show guest, Rio Ferdinand, ranked the prince as least popular among famous British Harry's. The former professional footballer put singer Harry Styles in first place, followed by fictional character Harry Potter, England's captain Harry Kane came in third with Prince Harry coming in last place. It was then announced the prince would be making an appearance on Corden's show as Ferdinand attempted to backtrack. "The duke is number one," he remarked.

The awkward scenes aired during last night's episode to a slightly bemused Prince Harry. Corden then asked the 41-year-old to rank himself among some of the most famous Harry's of the UK.

The host said: "It's our last show. Let's hash it out. Where do you put yourself in the list of greatest British Harry's?"

Corden explained Harry could choose between himself, Styles, Kane and Potter.

The prince initially refused to rate himself before confronting Ferdinand for ranking him last.

The presenter turned to Ferdinand and quizzed: "Are you going to be so bold now that you are sat next to the big man? You put [Prince Harry] at four."

Harry leaned forward, saying: "Yeah, you put me at four but the minute you knew I was going to be at this table you put me at one?"

A stuttering Ferdinand joked he had a rethink of his list following the last show during the awkward moment.

The duke later acquiesced as he placed Harry Styles in the top spot, Harry Kane second, while he put himself and Harry Potter in joint third.

"We'll have a Quidditch-off," Harry quipped, referencing a dangerous but popular sport played by witches and wizards riding flying broomsticks in JK Rowling's famous Harry Potter books.
