
Waitrose is urgently recalling one of its popular snacks amid fears it may contain pieces of hard plastic and metal. The supermarket has warned customers that its Waitrose & Partners 8 Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls may be unsafe to eat due to the contamination.
The affected products have the batch code B26177 and the best-before date of July 26, 2026. Anyone with them at home should not consume them, package them up, and return them to their nearest Waitrose for a full refund.
Point-of-sale notices will also be displayed in all retail stores selling this product, explaining to customers why it is being recalled and what to do if they have purchased it.
