A huge fire has broken out in East London, with smoke seen for miles across parts of the capital. Pictures show thick plumes of smoke rising high into the sky in the Whitechapel area. One person working at a local business said the fire "appears to be getting worse".
Another person on X reported seeing moke rising from behind the Royal London Hospital on Whitechapel Road. The picture also shows smoke clouds rising into the sky. The Daily Express has contacted the London Fire Brigade for comment.
