Italy has been rocked by another earthquake today, just a few days after Naples and the surrounding towns were hit by a 4.7-magnitude tremor. The latest, 4.3-magnitude quake was recorded at 10.15am local time (9.15am BST) on Tuesday in the Tuscany region, in central Italy.

The epicentre of the tremor was in San Piero a Grado, a small area some 7km from the city of Pisa, famous around the world for its leaning tower. The quake struck at a depth of 8km, and was felt in several areas of the northern Tuscany region, including Lucca and Massa Carrara.
