Russia's former president and close Vladimir Putin ally has sent a horrific kill threat to Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky as tensions between the warring countries soar to extremely dangerous levels. Dmitry Medvedev accused the Ukrainian president of trying to "derail" ongoing peace negotiations because "he wants war". 

The politician ended his message with a chilling threat, warning Mr Zelensky to "stay in hiding" for the rest of his life or risk death. He wrote on X: "The stinking Kiev bastard is trying to derail the settlement of the conflict. He wants war. Well, now at least he’ll have to stay in hiding for the rest of his worthless life."
