Meteorological experts have issued a warning regarding 11 hours of anticipated snowfall across Britain this weekend.
The Met Office has put in place an amber weather alert for snow, which takes effect on Sunday, January 11.
The snowfall is predicted to be 'heavy and persistent', resulting in 'further snow accumulations and disruption'.
Certain areas could see up to 30cm of snow.
The alert will remain active from 3am until 2pm.
This follows Storm Goretti, which delivered substantial snowfall to numerous regions of the country earlier this week.
The Met Office stated: "A band of snow will move across the warning area during Sunday morning and early afternoon.
"Snow is expected to fall to low levels across the warning area during the morning before becoming increasingly confined to higher ground in the afternoon.
"2 to 5cm is likely to low levels, with 10-15 cm above 150 metres elevation and locally 20-30 cm above 300 metres elevation.
"Strong winds will lead to some drifting of the snow and blizzard conditions, with deep drifts possible.
"During the afternoon, snow is likely to turn to sleet and then rain before it clears which will help to melt some of the snow at lower elevations, increasing the risk of flooding."
Several Scottish regions will be affected by the weather alert.
These include Angus, Perth and Kinross, Stirling, Aberdeenshire, Moray and Highland.
