
Actress Gwen Farrell, best known for her role in the popular sitcom M*A*S*H, has sadly died at the age of 93. Her devastated family confirmed the tragic news when setting up a GoFundMe page in her memory. It is understood the TV star passed away in the heart of LA on Thursday (April 30), with her son breaking the heartbreaking news the following day. Her cause of death is yet to be announced.
The lengthy tribute on her fundraising page began: "Today, our family is heartbroken to share the passing of Gwen Farrell Adair. Gwendolyn 'Gwen' Yancey Farrell was born in Austin, Texas, and lived a life full of strength, character, and quiet resilience. She was the daughter of Lovie Yancey, founder of Fatburger, and carried forward that same determination and independence throughout her life."
Her family went on to describe her life as "anything but ordinary", adding that her "true legacy was built in the real world through her strength, her presence, and the way she carried herself every single day."
