He then took to the stands where he was spotted watching the game intensely, wrapped up warm wearing a shirt, a blue jumper, a jacket and a coat.
He was also seen clapping and beaming as the stadium erupted in celebration.
However, this was not the case tonight.
Royal fans have been quick to pick up on William’s attendance at the match tonight, with one fan writing on X: “Love this, great to see him enjoying the game.”
