Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs has denied allegations concerning his supposed relationship with Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York. The music mogul has faced a wave of sexual assault allegations since late 2023, and was subsequently convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

While he contests all wrongdoing, the gravity of the accusations levelled against him have placed his every association under intense scrutiny. A source close to Diddy has alleged the rapper was romantically involved with the former British royal, widely known as Fergie. However, Juda Engelmayer, a spokesperson for Diddy, told the Mirror US: "There are so many important and monumental events happening today; this utterly ridiculous gossip isn't one of them." The claims emerge amid speculation surrounding Diddy's reported ambitions for a post-prison comeback.

A former Bad Boy Records employee allegedly told the Daily Mail that the rapper boasted about "slamming" her, and further claimed that Diddy once said "he could not wait until Fergie's daughters come of age." A separate source close to the star reportedly told the publication that the pair were "secret friends with benefits."

According to the insider, the two first crossed paths at a 2002 party in New York hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell, with their alleged liaison continuing until 2004. Diddy subsequently launched a fragrance, Unforgivable, which was reportedly inspired by the scent Ferguson preferred on a man. During their relationship, the source alleged, "they'd meet in luxurious hotels... They once stayed at a seven-star hotel that was over £50,000 a night. They spared no expense."

Diddy was not accused of any sexual misconduct toward Ferguson.

Diddy faced five charges across three federal indictments, including sex trafficking, conspiracy racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He was found guilty only of the two prostitution charges and acquitted of all other charges. Civil lawsuits, while some were dismissed, mostly remain in progress.

He was first accused of sexual assault in November 2023 by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The pair settled the lawsuit out of court within 24 hours with no admission of wrongdoing.

A wave of further lawsuits from other individuals were subsequently filed against the rapper, who consistently continued to deny all allegations.

However, Ventura later emerged as the star witness in the federal government's case against the rapper.

The Department of Homeland Security carried out raids on Diddy's properties in March 2024. At the time, Diddy's team branded it an "unprecedented ambush." Evidence gathered during the raids was subsequently utilised in the trial against the musician.

He was taken into custody in September 2024, remaining at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center throughout the discovery process and his July 2025 trial. He was ultimately handed a 40-month federal prison sentence for the two convictions.

Diddy's legal team are currently appealing the convictions.
