A BBC star has flown from the United Kingdom to Dubai in search of Katie Price’s missing husband. The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman says she is on a “mission” to locate the businessman after his rumoured disappearance, with Katie worried he has been kidnapped and urging anyone in Dubai to help search.

Katie sent out a passionate plea on social media, begging: “If there's anyone in Dubai or you know anyone in Dubai and you spot him or see him... I don't know because I don't know where he is. Because the last thing I know, his hands were tied and he had a hood over his head and he was in the back of a van."

While some have suggested it could be a “publicity stunt”, the Foreign Office has confirmed they are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with local authorities.

Now Luisa has insisted she’s flying first-class to Dubai “for the nation” in a series of tongue-in-cheek videos, joking she would “go to a lot of warehouses and shout his name in hope that he comes to me”.

Luisa documented her journey from the UK to Dubai in first-class, telling fans: “I looked everywhere around, I couldn’t find Lee Andrews. I’m now boarding a plane, and I’m gonna check.

“All right guys, I’m on the plane. I’m in first class, which is where I would expect him to be. I’m putting my slippers on and having my champagne. Wish me luck! He’s not here, babes.”

She added: “This is a mission that I’m willing to undertake for the nation. This isn’t just for you, Katie, this is for the whole nation, because we are gripped. Where the hell is your husband, what’s happened to him, is he still in Dubai airport? I’ll find out.”

Showing off the swanky first-class bathroom, she said: “Guys, I’m now in the toilet – I still can’t find Lee Andrews. There’s a shower in here, a massive mirror. If you want to join the mile high club, check this out. It’s even got a hairdryer.”

Luisa later filmed another video from Dubai, telling fans: “It’s the end of day one of looking for Lee Andrews in this missing persons case. I’m trying to bring Katie Price’s husband home.

“So, discovered a few things. He was seen as active on Facebook Messenger six hours ago, which does indicate that his kidnappers are definitely letting him have access to social media. Makes you wonder why he hasn’t reached out to ask for help. Who knows?

“But I did see that whilst I did some digging on Facebook. I don’t know, it’s looking unlikely I’m gonna be able to bring him home.

“I’ve searched high and low, in the back of vans and in warehouses. Called his name – no reply. Where are you, Lee? Everybody wants to know. The nation wants to know.”

While Luisa’s videos were definitely straying into comedy, Katie isn’t seeing the funny side and says she is “struggling to sleep” over the ordeal, with her “brain going a million miles an hour”.

She did, however, repost Luisa’s video to her Instagram story with a string of love heart emojis.
